Nose: Usually the smell of cherries and red fruits.

Palate: It exhibits melted tannins and good acidity, which will enhance its body. The finish is smooth and fruity.

 

Grape variety: 100% PRIMITIVO Zinfandel

Zinfandel is a black-skinned wine grape.

More than 10% of California’s vineyards are planted with this variety. 

DNA analysis showed that it is genetically identical to the Croatian grapes Crljenak Kaštelanski and Tribidrag, as well as the Primitivo variety introduced in the 18th century to the traditional cultivation of Kratošija in Puglia, Italy, and Montenegro.
 

Pairing: Enjoy with mature cheese, a cut of meat or poultry with red sauce.
