Over the last 15 years, they have strongly consolidated their leading position offering products with a personality and a style of their own that reflect the essence of Mendoza’s terroir, and their regional style, people and culture.

 

Gala 4 is selected from the finest parcels within the estate vineyards of La Linda, La Espana, Los Nobles and Las Compuertas. Vines are on average 50 years old and sit an elevations up to 960 meters. Soils vary from limestone rubble and silt, to calcareous to sandy-loam.

 

Grapes are handpicked, sorted and destemmed followed by cool fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wines are blended and aged in 100% new French oak cask for 14 months.

 

Luigi Bosca Gala 4 is a red blend of an intense red color depth and a black bottom. In the nose, aromas reminiscent of ripe black fruit and violets stand out, as well as black tea and cassis notes. The toasty bouquet of the oak adds complexity. It is intense, juicy and tasty in the mouth, with good firm tannins, some sweetness and liquor and blueberry flavors. Long-lasting, aromatic and tannic finish.
